1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of AlphaTales, including the website, application, subscriptions, AI-assisted planning tools, and related services.
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, joining a workspace, or using AlphaTales, you agree to these terms. If you use AlphaTales for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.
2. The service
AlphaTales helps founders and teams turn early product ideas into structured project plans, requirements, feature outlines, documentation, and implementation context.
The service uses AI and deterministic software workflows. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, similar to output received by others, or unsuitable for a particular use. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it, sharing it, or using it in a business decision.
3. Accounts and workspaces
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Workspace owners are responsible for invited users, roles, permissions, and shared project data.
- You must notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
- We may suspend access if account activity creates security, abuse, billing, or legal risk.
4. Subscriptions, credits, and billing
Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period shown at checkout unless cancelled before renewal. You authorize recurring charges to the payment method you provide.
- AI credits, usage allowances, seats, and plan limits are described at checkout or in your account.
- Unused credits may expire or reset according to the plan terms shown at purchase.
- Plan changes may affect features, limits, pricing, and renewal timing.
- Taxes may be charged where required.
Refund and cancellation rules are explained in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Your content and AI output
You keep the rights you have in project descriptions, prompts, files, notes, and other content you submit to AlphaTales. To operate the service, you grant us permission to host, process, display, and transmit that content as needed to provide AlphaTales.
Subject to applicable law and these terms, you may use AI-generated output created for you through AlphaTales. See the AI Content and Ownership Policy for important limits on originality, similarity, third-party rights, and human review.
6. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable laws. You may not abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or bypass the security and usage controls of AlphaTales.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take action including content removal, rate limiting, suspension, or account termination.
7. Privacy and data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal information and project-related data.
8. Third-party services
AlphaTales may rely on infrastructure, authentication, payment, analytics, AI, support, and communication providers. Third-party services may have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party products that you choose to connect or use outside AlphaTales.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but AlphaTales may change, pause, or discontinue features. We may make changes for security, legal, operational, product, or infrastructure reasons.
10. Disclaimers and liability
AlphaTales is provided on an as-is and as-available basis except where law requires otherwise. We do not promise that the service or AI output will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, original, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlphaTales is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer law.
11. General terms
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply.
